This print is part of the first series of screen prints where I developed a technique to use blueberry as a pigment/ink in screen printing. I thank Wendy Tokaryk at the Banff Arts Centre for facilitating my screen ink experimentations during the thematic residency "Trading Post" with Candice Hopkins and Raven Chacon.

Screen printing with this 'ink' seemed the logical method and was inspired by attending a monotype workshop with Ufuk Gueray in Dawson City in October/November 2010, where I first experimented with cooking up blueberry pigment for mark making and sent blueberries through a printing press.
